Tissue culture laboratory of Atul Rajasthan Date Palms Ltd (ARDP) is located in Chopasani, Jodhpur, a historical city situated at the edge of Thar Desert in Rajasthan, India.
ARDP has a state-of-the-art tissue culture laboratory for date palm plants and a production facility attached to it in its site measuring about 15 acres. The modern hardening units such as automated greenhouses, shade houses and trial plantations are a part of this facility.
The laboratory building as well as various infrastructure facilities were designed and set up under the technical advice and guidance of Date Palm Tissue Culture Laboratory (DPTCL) of Date Palm Research and Development Unit (DPRDU), UAE University (UAEU), Al Ain, United Arab Emirates.
The plant tissue culture laboratory and hardening facility is recognised by National Certification System for Tissue Culture Raised Plants (NCS TCP) under the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India.
